Our Mission
To help preserve and improve the facilities and lands of the Barcelona Neck State Park in a partnership with the State and the Board of the Sag Harbor Golf Club
Our Initiatives
Upgrade Course Irrigation
The courses irrigation system is antiquated and no longer sustainable. One of our priorities is to upgrade the course’s irrigation system with a more efficient and sustainable system which will reduce water consumption.
Upgrade Maintenance Equipment
The course and park’s maintenance equipment are made up of used and old hardware that are in a constant state of repair. We would like to upgrade the staff’s equipment which will increase our staff’s productivity and reduce waste.
Upgrade Park Amenities
Barcelona Neck is one the most renown preserve in the nation with trails that date back as far as the 1700’s. Over time the preserves amenities have deteriorated and many no longer exist. We would like to bring back the many amenities we’ve lost over time, such as, benches, picnic areas with picnic benches, updated trail signage, just to name a few.
